Revisiting the International Tree Ring Data Bank (ITRDB)
This project, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, tries to reformat, contextualize and make available the largest data set of global tree-ring series. In collaboration with Swiss, Chinese and American partners we corrected the errors in the database, studied its biases and unbalances and provide new metrics that can help improving the overall representativity of the International Tree Ring Data Bank for Ecological purposes.

Rise in global spatial synchrony in forest growth
In this project, we are exploring the changes in global spatial synchrony at a global level for the last 1000 years. We are finding an unprecedented rise in synchrony, linked to increasing temperatures. The rise in correlations between environmental variables themselves suggest that increasing temperatures is increasing the importance of Moran's effect and thus the correlation between global forests, with unforeseeable consequences.
